Good communications and very fast delivery. Nice model of 45t steam crane N gauge, been looking for a model for a while as I am renovating a full size one on the Bluebell Railway

Don , Lincoln - 10 Jan 2019 - Two Stars
This company has had a good reputation for many years and I believe it has a good stock level and the owners are helpful - If you visit. However I tried to buy from the website. I received an order acknowledgement but no delivery date so I sent an email asking if the item was in stock and, if not, when would it be. I had one response saying the manufacturer delivered once a week but no further information. Several more weeks went past and further emails did not receive any responses. I cancelled the order and then had to phone to get confirmation of cancellation. Poor online service and I was disappointed.

I am about a couple of hours away from finishing my low relief dairy model, it has been very straightforward to make and is really beginning to look the part and will be a great addition to my layout. Maurice at Osborn's models was very obliging in changing it to Express Dairies to suite my layout and I have absolutely no problem in recommending them.

Alan , Wigan, Lanc's - 06 Jun 2018 - Four & a half Stars
Ommunication not always good until I found confirmation emails in the junk folder. Haven't used them until recently but prices are reasonable and delivery is prompt, so no complaints from me.

Rob , Gloucester - 06 Dec 2017 - Four & a half Stars
Very helpful and excellent value for money. Well worth making an order or paying a visit. I have made quite a few orders from this shop.

Martin , Caerphilly, Mid Glamorgan - 05 Dec 2017 - Five Stars
Cannot fault Osborn's Models in any way. Easy to use website order page. Superb delivery time item received very very promptly well packaged. Would recommend to any modellers out there. Plus the fact that items are very competitively priced.

Graham , Darlington - 26 Nov 2017 - Three & a half Stars
Slight problem in that the packaging that had been provided was possibly too large for what had been ordered as one of the steam Rollers had broken free from the bubble wrap and must have been loose and at some stage been broken into three parts, whilst it was possible to repair the roller part, the roof supports were beyond repair. So on the basis that not all Steam Rollers had them I was happy to retain it in that condition.

OCWW ALN055 LMS 6-Wheel Combination Carriage Truck Kit

Just over 200 of these early 6 ton payload LMS 6-wheeled CCTs were built on re-cycled ex Midland Coach underframes. Minor detail differences existed to suit the frames used but they were all built to the same basic body shape. After 1959 they were banned from passenger trains after which many were downgraded to departmental use. However when first out shopped they were painted in fully lined LMS Crimson. Later the body ends of most were painted black.Note the unusual tie rods.

OCCW ALN054 LNER Horse Box Diag 5

The LNER built 30 of these 22Foot long horse boxes in 1938. They had a central 2-stall box for the horses and a grooms compartment with a toilet at one end with a food and tack locker at the other. Many were allocated to particular racehorse trainers and most were branded 'return to Newmarket' These vans were XP rated for use in express passenger trains. They lasted into BR traffic and were painted carmine with cream lettering. Eventually these wagons were displaced by road based horse boxes from the early 1960's onwards.
