What a fabulous model shop set in the main square of Caistor in the beautiful Lincolnshire Wolds. I visited the shop on 6 March 2020 and the gentlemen in the shop was very welcoming and friendly inviting me to have a good rummage. Do not be put off by the size of the shop from the outside because once you walk through the door you will see it is an Alladin's cave inside a Tardis! The range of items is incredible from Kadee couplings through Hornby, Dapol and Bachmann locos, wagons and coaches to Springside loco lamps. A real bonus is free parking right outside. I shall definitely be going again.

Reviewed this shop 3 years ago but thought I would update. I have dealt with them for several years and the service has always been great, very friendly and helpful. Visited today and, if anything, the shop has more in it than before - Almost impossible! Absolutely crammed with lovely stuff for the railway modeller. Thoroughly recommended - Off the beaten track perhaps but well worth the diversion and time to go there.

Called in the other month on a day off and really glad I did, tucked in the corner of the market square this is a little shop with a lot to choose from and I spent over an hour browsing N gauge items and scenics with interesting items rammed into every tiny space available. Owners were lovely people and couldn't have been more helpful - It's a 45 minute drive from home for me - But well worth the trip 10/10

Visited Caistor Loco while visiting a friend in the town last month. Typical old-school model shop - stuff stashed in every nook and cranny with a welcoming proprietor who knows what and where everything is, and also what's sold out! Picked up some reasonably priced discontinued whitemetal kits to try out from the bargain box. Will definitely call again when next in town.

Visited the shop this morning - what a paradise! They have a comprehensive stock and the owner was such a pleasant and efficient guy. I told him what I was looking for and within a few minutes he delved into a large shelf of stock and produced it! It was unavailable elsewhere and yet he had one and whats more at a very competitive price! I could have spent the day in there! Will definitely be going again!

Excellent little shop. Pleasant and very helpful owners who have good knowledge of the model railway hobby. Shop stuffed full of product - it would be difficult to walk out without having found something you want. A cave of delights! Competitive on pricing.

From Cambrian Models: we've just returned from delivering an order of wagon kits to Caistor Loco today, and I can confirm that it is open, and that the opening hours/phone number are as on your website. Phone number is OK. It's a small shop, but packed with stock (even the floor!). Well worth a visit.

Visited Caistor Loco shop for the first time last Thursday. I have bought 'stuff' from them at Exhibitions, Lincoln, Spalding & Boston Shows, in the past. It's is by for the best Model Railway premises I have ever visited, just about everything that a Railway Modeller could want is there, together with good, honest, straightforward advice as well. All the best for the future, Pete.
