Come and find out how railway signalling worked in the days before computer control when chips were what the signalman had for tea. You can play at being a signalman and pull some levers. We are pleased that most of the exhibits planned for January are able to attend the new dates. We hope to attract our regular attendees and hopefully many more with much warmer weather in July. We aim to return to the usual slot of 1st full weekend in January in 2023. This year we have 16 layouts in different scales from 16mm / ft, to 2mm /ft. Our theme layout is Deganwy in OO gauge. It depicts a busy summer weekend in the late 1950s at Deganwy station and village, which is on the branch line to Llandudno from Llandudno Junction. Or you can just watch the trains go by and talk to like minded modellers. In addition there will be up to 5 traders as well as light refreshments. Bourne End Station (Served by Great Western Railway) is an easy five minute walk away. There is also a regular Arriva bus service linking Bourne End and High Wycombe. We have 15 layouts attending in a variety of gauges, eras and locations. We also have a variety of traders and lots of different demonstrators. Refreshments will be available.
