The Beckenham and West Wickham Model Railway Club, located in south east London in the UK, was founded in 1950 and is an active club promoting all aspects of railway modelling. We have a number of layouts from N gauge up to O gauge.

Badlesmere Village Hall, beside the green, is our venue for running and model making. During winter some Saturday afternoon meetings are in Fleur De Lis Hall, central Faversham. Members have a wide range of interests from Edwardian trains, through US and Continental, to modern British railways. We pool our skills to maintain and add to our layouts. We exhibit Edington Jnt. East Kent Model Railway Society is a small, friendly group of people who meet every week in its clubhouse on the edge of Whitstable. The club benefits from a large, permanent multi-track OO scale layout which can run both analogue and digital trains. We are keen to see new members join the club - regardless of skill level - and offer no obligation tasters to potential joiners. The club holds two exhibitions a year at different venues.

Founded in June 1962, the society (EMRS for short) has been in existence for over 50 years. It is very friendly and informal in nature, and comprises people engaged in modelling railways in most scales including N, HO, OO and O. As well as modelling railways and organising our annual exhibition, the society organises annual dinners, buffet events and visits to various railway related places of interest. We meet every Wednesday, and most Tuesdays and Thursdays, at our clubrooms in Belvedere.

Folkestone, Hythe and District Model Railway Club

A long established club in south east kent, with over 45 members. We meet at the new broomfield hall, broomfield road, cheriton, on Mondays and Wednesdays from about 7.45pm. Our annual exhibition is very popular with over 3000 visitors attending over the weekend and is regarded as one of the best in kent (perhaps better than Chatham!). Gravesend Railway Enthusiasts Society

Formed in 1970 by a group of enthusiasts with an interest in transport and railways in particular, the tradition carries on today, with interests as diverse as shipping, buses and trams. We hold 20 meetings a year at the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Windmill Street, Gravesend with speakers on a wide range of transport related subjects. There is also the 'GRES Journal', published ten times a year, plus an annual coach outing to a railway location and visits to other railway and transport sites.

Kent Area 16mm Group

This club is the Kent Area Group of the Association of 16mm Narrow Gauge Modellers. See website for full information.
We hold indoors meetings on layouts (32mm and 45mm gauge) at a hall in Higham once a month from September to April. Outdoors meetings at members' garden railways in various locations in the County of Kent are held from April to September. Rusper Model Railway Club

Rusper MRC exists to operate a large partly outdoor OO Gauge model railway monthly on a Sunday, to a timetable and based on BR practice 1948-64. We have numerous passenger trains calling at 10 stations and freight trains using the coloured pin system stopping at 8 goods yards, all signalled with bell codes. We have the locos & stock, but members can bring their own locos. See your favourites really stretch their legs! No experience necessary, all you need is a good sense of humour!!
