In the above volumes covering all BR Locomotives from 31st August 1950 (including additional information from 1948 as available) I have attempted to offer the enthusiast an historical document by which he may follow the movements of a particular locomotive or whole class hroughout its lifetime on BR. The information is only as good as the reports of the day and cannot be regarded as totally accurate, however it does give an insight into the complicated and sometimes bizarre operations on our railways of yesteryear. Depot code section is contained for 1950, 1955, 1959, 1964 and 1967. Plus free code change section; see below.
