	JOHN DAY MODELS UNDER NEW OWNERSHIP 00/4mm scale whitemetal road vehicles from 1930's-1970's. Following the sad loss of John Day in the summer of 2006, his son Crispin and partner Caroline endeavoured to carry on the John Day Model business in an attempt to continue supplying this wonderful range of models which span a diverse range of decades and subject matter, equally important Crispin realised it would be a very sad loss for modellers around the world if the model range which is his fathers legacy were to slip away. Unfortunately as Crispin and Caroline are both professionals with young children and already live very busy lives, realised that to carry on with the models was all too consuming, with a view to continuing the range of models and his fathers name Crispin passed the business over to Daryle Toney models in August this year knowing that they have a passion for these models and will ensure his fathers name and work will continue. The range is slowly being reintroduced from existing servicable moulds in small quantities until such time that the masters of these models are refurbished and improved which hopefully will be completed within 2 years.
