Quite simply the tidiest model railway shop I have ever been in. The models are displayed in well lit glass fronted cases and the stock is very extensive.

This shop is run by people whom I count as friends ! Helpful , friendly and honest ! They always try their level best to help , and will order anything for you, though it's rare to find them unable to supply from stock. A refreshing oasis in a desert of mediocrity.

I have been purchasing my OO gauge items from arcadia for quite a few years now and consider the service second to none. A small shop but lots of items on display. Always made to feel welcome and free to browse for as long as necessary. Tim and stuart are always keen to assist when required. Prices are always competitive. I fully recommend this shop

Arcadia = tim and stuart + friendly greating, cup of tea, best prices on all models stocked. tim supplied OO gauge rolling stock, trackwork and controllers for my extensive garden railway . I offer a baseboards and garden railway building service and recommend arcadia to supply you with all your stock and track requirements .Arcadia May not be the biggest but is definately the best shop for model railways

We have been going to arcadia for nearly 15 years, more stock on display than you could shake a stick at! Tim and stuart are very knowledgable, and the prices are very reasonable. Just about to move from OO to hom and will be buying all stock from them. Well worth a trip out to!

Simply put the best model railway shop in the world Tim and stuart are quite possibly two of the nicest, honest and trustworthy people i've ever met in the business. They always have time for you and will always give the best prices around.I wont buy off anybody else simply because this shop doesnt rip you off like some try in this game. If you want the best service, quality, large stock of various guages and to be treated that extra bit special go to arcadia. I promise you wont go anywhere else after visiting.

The best model railway shop i've been to. I was a regular in haworth, far nearer for me to get to, until the supercilious attitude of the owner put me off for good. The longer drive is worth it - these guys are friendly, knowledgeable but will leave you alone to browse if you want, and no dogs barking at you! Plus they offer you a coffee and they have what want in stock 99 times/100.

I am a lorry driver and have visited model railway shops all over england and wales. I have found tim at arcadia to be the most helpful and knowledgable model shop owner of any I have visited and often have gone over 50 miles out of my way to visit. His stock of roco ho is I think unsurpassed in england and the only shop to my knowledge in all england to see a very large display of bemo hom and hoe the stock of british outline is also first class and if the item you require is not stocked tim will always do everything he can to get it for you.I have found the shop to be everything a first class model railway shop should be.
Sheer perfection! although shop is not the largest and can get busy, tim, stuart and the guys have become good friends to me, since day one. new and old customers alike are always very welcome and offered a cuppa. amount of stock held is simply amazing, does a small selection of british and german 0 gauge now. Very helpful and knowledgable, will order even the most obscure items for you with no trouble at all. Will do go terms on part ex's too. thanks guys!
Very clean and well stocked shop with one each of all locos out of boxes on display, staff very helpfull and knowledgable. amount of continental stock a rare treat!!

Whilst travelling home to york from crewe, I decided to break my journey in order to visit this shop. I am very pleased that I did so. Even though it was my first visit, I was welcomed as if I was a regular and I was able to purchase a loco on very reasonable terms. As a result, I shall be returning, hopefully on many occasions. Highly recommended!

Excellent model shop which is well stocked with all the major brands and covers uk and continental modeling. They are always willing to help and give advice and even offer you a brew when you go. I have managed to buy all my dcc equipment from there, rolling stock, loco's, ballast, track side buildings, track, paint and they will even order you stuff if its not in stock The only thing I have ever asked for and they didn't have in stock and dont stock was a sheet of phozzy bronze. I pop in nearly every week. Top class.
