Recently revisited this shop on a trip to the uk and it's worth every dollar and every mile to get there. I was greeted by name (not bad after having been there only once before and that was 2 years previously!) and found chris and his staff as welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable and informative as ever. The shop was very busy with customers and deliveries but everyone was accorded personal service and attention and as many questions as they asked were answered. Very comprehensive stock from rtr through to scratch build requirements and in all popular gauges; over half is uk but many overseas models also. I regularly order via easy-to-use website and receive international deliveries in just a few days, never had any damaged or missing items. This business demands support whether you can get there in person or simply online. And their prices are very hard to beat as well. 10+ out of 10.

Top quality model rail retail outlet also with mail order and an ecommerce website which offers a full range of model rail equipment online unlike many others who only do a limited amount online.
chris and greg are very nice people to deal with and all the staff are as-well i have always found them very helpfull and honest .
the shop is extemely well stocked and the website also gives you a true stock level. They cater for all areas of the hobby in gauges, and also international models aswell as british outline. All stock also carries a discount of varying percentage and the price on the website is the same as you pay in the shop.

I think this is one of the most best model shops in the south west of the uk.
i have been there personally and find it as the best i have ever visited. There are hundreds of items to choose from and you can feel spoilt for choice!
the shop caters for most guages and the staff are very friendly and can give you good advice if you have any problems at all.
i will give it 100 per cent.

Chris and his team are always outstanding for service, stock and professionalism. They deserve all the support they can get, and they most certainly have mine. One of the best stocked shops i have ever found, with no end of helpful advice always on hand. Global deliveries are no problem either as they are happy to ship anywhere you care to run a model. Comprehensive easy to use website for online browsing and ordering is yet another strength to this outstanding business.

Having decided to start railway modelling after a gap of over 40 years i was delighted at the friendy advice, help and assistance received from kernow models. No question was any trouble to them and they naturally displayed kindness and patience.
having decided, for space reasons, to model in n gauge this time i very much appreciated their enthusiasm and knowledge, they have made my venture into this field so much easier - i did notice that they took the same care with other customers in the shop whether novices like myself or experienced modellers.
i wish them every success in their new shop, which certainly shows off the large range in all gauges that they have, and will certainly be making further visits to them.

Excellent shop! Huge range of everything that you need. Recently started to stock Liliput and when they decide to do something they do it properly! The entire range is in stock and it looks great. Perhaps time to change from my GWR branch and model a German main line....

I drove for an hour just to have a look here. The gentleman who served me could not have been more helpful. While he didn't have in stock what I was looking for, he did explain what he could do try to help me out, taking my number and promising to ring me when he had information. Great service even when he wasn't getting a sale. Anyone in the area should give this shop a visit
