I contacted howes models by e-mail with a query regarding R/C model yachts. I received a very quick and helpful reply and in a subsequent phone call I was talked through various options by a very patient and courteous and knowledgeable member of staff. My following order was quickly despatched and received next day. I have no hesitation in recommending howes models to all modelers. Customer service is outstanding. Roy Matthews , Bracknell, Berkshire - 17 Apr 2010 - 9/10 While on a railway photography outing with my grandson in the oxford/banbury area, I decided to bring an older Bachmann pannier tank engine with me to see if howes models ltd could convert it to dcc. On entering the shop it was apparent that this was a model shop that you could spend nearly all day in, spoke to the member of staff behind the counter of the railway section (They do other types of models too) to see if my engine could be converted, and was very pleased to find out that they could. this was Thursday 15th April 2010 and was told that my engine would be posted back to me for Monday 19th April, well imagine my surprise to answer a knock at the door today Saturday 17th April to find the postman there with my engine returned and well packaged, what excellent service will definitely be using them again. roy matthews bracknell berkshire.
