Good shop most stuff is cheaper than normal

Staff very helpful- they allowed me to examine each live steam loco and explained how each one worked. I was under no pressure to buy and they actually encouraged me to buy a cheaper make of track which works just as well as the dearer version. They have a wide range of products although the shop is quite small - try to visit during the week! Did not talk down to a female train enthusiast.

Good second hand section. Very reasonably priced. Handy car parking facilities at the garden centre, also wife parking facilities - she buys flowers while i buy trains! Regular attendees at local model shows.

A very friendly shop that is like a swapmeet inside in that they have new and used in z through to garden railways. It is organised chaos but if you like rummaging and loathe the stale toys r us type stores staffed by non-enthusiasts you will love here!

Great worth a visit unless you do not like rumageing, the second hand and new itemsare mixed together in some cases. But great for z to g lgb gauge's, models and diecast etc, plus two trains run on the weekends which you can have a ride on, they run at one steam and a diesel.

There is a good range of Railway models both new and used, however the marked prices are very expensive especially on the used items. Shame as its got the potential to be a great model shop as its open on a sunday and theres the nursery for the wife !
