A wide range of stock in all scales including many of the smaller and overseas manufacturers. Not your average type of store stocking just the main manufacturers such as hornby, bachmann, et al. I would fully endorse all the previous comments made about this shop - definately one to visit if you are in the area. I took my unwanted items to the shop and they had an excellent part exchange service allowing me to obtain the items I required, ordering in certain kits I wanted. Over the course of several visits to the shop, I met three members of staff all of whom where positively helpful in guiding me through the latest developments in model railway technology, some of which I had never even heard of! Without any pressure to purchase, dutfield's staff explained my options, showed me the pitfalls to avoid and also where I could save money instead of simply spending it unintelligently. Well done! Dawn Hazle , Nottingham - 04 Dec 2009 - 10/10 Despite now living over 130mi away, I save up my pennies to go and visit if i'm in essex for long enough: the second-Hand selection is amazing and good value, there's a lovely range of scenery, a fantastic selection of revell (And many other) aircraft kits at the best prices i've ever seen and as much modelling support materials and advice you could ask for. Also the only place i've been that stocks revell brushes. Plus, last time I was there I was remembered despite my last visit being 3 years ago! Check out the z-Gauge 'layout' by the door :d
