Slightly unusual shop, family business ( old fashioned ? ) but none the worse for that. Good offers on engines, 20% off, as good as online. Mr oakes will order things specially for you. Has a digital display layout which was just hornby, but now has the dynamis system to try as well. Well worth a look in, saturdays are demo day for dcc. as i said before always has good offers on engines and sets too.

Strange shop it is 3/4cloths shop 1/4 model shop they have a good selection of new stock just a few second hand items. All a little to expensive for me im afraid

Family run business. Friendly service staff and customers offer advice to young and old. Parking at rear of shop. Has 3 model layouts including digital demonstrations. Good offers. Stock hornby, bachman, dapol, metcalf models, ratio, peco track. Always has second trains, trains and coaches. Has been selling hornby since 1948
