Acme models has helped me from the start of my intrest in model railways. They have a large range of stock of most gauges from Z up to G scale. the staff are friendly and helpful and good humoured. They have recently had a refurb giving much more space to dislay stock. They have a large selection of good quality second hand stock and I would strongly recomend them. Younger modelers are encouraged here and they have a extensive knowledge of all their stock. They will repair any model you might have for a resonable price, there is ample parking and you are allowed to handle/veiw the stock, they will place orders for your needs.

Very good model shop freindly owner even though the shop is small there is a wide range of new items, big range of second hand items- locos coaches, scenic items etc plenty of boxes for rumaging in for those odd items
