Well stocked with new and s/hand items. S/hand items very reasonably priced. Not easy to find by car. Gave up first time after going past it about three times! Second time i parked in the centre and found it immediately!

A very nice little shop. Bit of a trek from the railway station that involves crossing main roads but definitely worth it. Everything well displayed too, no searching round in boxes on the floor looking for that kit you want. And the second hand stuff was very well priced.

the shop is very well stocked, with a wide range of products.locos are on show in display cabinets so you can see them. the gentleman who runs the shop is also very, very helpful and very knowledgable .

19th August 2008 - STOP PRESS : Limited Edition Spine Wagon and Telescopic Hood Steel Wagon from Dapol
Our limited edition telescopic wagon from Dapol is now delayed until December for release.
The spine wagon should still be September.
1st June 2008 - Limited Edition Spine Wagon and Telescopic Hood Steel Wagon from Dapol
Our limited edition weathered 'OO' gauge Spine wagon from Dapol has been delayed until at least the end of September.
This is due to the addition of extra detail that was not included on the 'N' gauge version.
The tooling for this should be completed very soon to allow full production to begin.
Dapol are very sorry for this delay, but hope customers will appreciate the extra level of detail at no extra cost!
We are still taking pre-orders for this wagon, an order form is available on our web site.
As a result of this delay, Dapol have had to re-schedule its production of other items.
This means that the Telescopic Hood steel wagon, which was not expected until November, has been brought forward.
We are therefore pleased to announce our second limited edition wagon in the form of a 'Weathered' version of the VTG livery Telescopic Hood steel wagon in 'OO' gauge.
There will be a production run of 250 items which will carry a different running number to the standard Dapol production run.
The wagons can be pre-ordered as per the same arrangements for the Spine Wagon.

Payment will not be taken until the wagons are ready for dispatch.
Delivery is expected in early September so this could arrive before our first limited edition wagon.
The cost is £26-95 each ( plus £3 UK post ), or three wagons for £75 ( plus £5-50 UK post ). Orders from overseas will be accepted and postage will be at cost.
17th January 2008 - Our first Limited Edition wagon in 'OO-gauge'
Our first limited edition wagon in 'OO-gauge' will be produced by Dapol Ltd. It will be a model of the modern 'Spine' wagon used to carry containers. These wagons run as semi-permanently coupled pairs. Ours will carry Freightliner livery and will be factory 'weathered'. They will carry the running numbers 640351 and 640352, which are different to the normal Dapol production run of un-weathered wagons. The production run is limited to 250 sets ( pairs of wagons ) and will be available around May this year. Each model will be provide with a limited edition numbered certificate.
We are are now taking advance orders for these, and they are selling very well.
The cost is £22-95 plus £3 UK postage for one set, or 5 sets for £100 plus £6-50 UK postage.
To place an order, you can download an order from our website and send it to the shop address, or place your order by telephone. Credit cards will not be charged until two weeks prior to delivery and cheques can be postdated to the middle of April.
All purchasers will be contacted in due course with regards to a special offer on containers for these wagons, and will also be given details of our next limited edition and the opportunity to order the same certificate number.
Orders can also be placed at any exhibitions that we are attending, the details of which are on our website.
Orders from outside the UK will also be accepted, but please check with us first regarding postage and VAT.
