The actual Pumpimg Station is quite difficult to find and ther location of it on the map is misleading. I also made the mistake the first time of going on a Tuesday when it was closed but that's my fault, I now see. When you click on the other Lord and Butler shop in Cardiff you get the Pumping Station again. Anyway, I went back when it was open and they have a notice telling you that it is their other shop which deals mainly in N guage railways which I wanted. so I went there and it was excellent. THe chap there could not have been more helpful and introduced me to Kato track which I hadn't come across before. It is brilliantly made and really easy to put together. This shop is one of the few in the country to stock it.

Superb range of stock, loads of 00 rtr and bits for bashing. Plenty of n and bigger scales too. Always a good welcome from peter and adrian. Always enjoy the 90 mile round trip, the pump house haveing a cafe for light lunch and various other attractiosn to make the trip worth while. take cheque book, you will usually find something you were not looking for!

A real gem, plenty of stock and friendly advice available, often has a number of reductions. The pumping station has more 00-gauge while canton offers more n-gauge. Highly recommended, although web site is needed.

This excellent shop contains every thing you could need to build a model railway. Great range of OO Hornby, Peco and Bauchmann. The staff are friendly and very helpfull.

Very good shop, great range including a lot of Heljan + a stockest of DCC Staff are allways very helpful, plenty of free parking on site, well worth the drive from cardiff center. They have a big range of OO, from all the manufactures (havent paid that much attention to other scales.) Staff know what their are talking about, I really miss the shop when I am away from Cardiff when uni is on holls.
