This shop is right next to the south devon steam railway, so just because of that it is well worth a visit! It has lots of second hand models and a variety of gauges, even some mamod live steam railway engines! There is a huge working model railway. When i mean huge i mean about 30' by 10'! It is run by a friendly and enthusiastic group of people who are willing to buy second hand items.

A good shop with good discounts. Has the advantage of having a cafe built in. Allows the other half to have a cake and a coffe whille you have a look round.

The shop has a OO exhibition layout (currently undergoing some work) and Cafe attached and keeps pretty much the same hours as the South Devon Railway

Well stocked with bachmann and Hornby, plus Peco, N guage stuff and bits and pieces. Prices seemed at ful RRP though. One of the better "model" shops on preserved railways sites, well worth a visit.

The initial impression was unhalpful, but the second member of staff I dealt with changed this, they knew their stock and their subject, and they made sales as a result. They are well worth going to if you are going down the A38 or visiting the Buckfast to Totnes preserved railway, but (on one visit only) I wouldn't travel the length of the country to visit. They have an interesting layout / exhibition of their own. I will certainly call in again when I am passing. The items that I have checked in the list below are only those I was looking at and can remember. They do significantly more.
