I bought two locomotives from them and the whole transaction from start to finish was as smooth as one could possibly wish. Having made initial contact I was unable to proceed with the purchase due to a family mishap. Janes Trains kindly offered to put my items to one side and keep them for me until I was able to proceed and complete the deal, even though it took several weeks from the initial point of contact. They were lovely to deal with, friendly, helpful and very co-oprative. Their communications were excellent and I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending them to other prospective buyers. Nor would I hesitate to buy anything from them again myself, in fact I propose to do just that as soon as possible.

Having been given a train set for my birthday i wanted to add to it and see what sort of thing i could do, so i visited janes trains in tooting and was amazed at the terrific selection they had, both new and secondhand. They were able to give me lots of advice on the different accessories i could get and help me with the pros and cons of going digital. I spent a very informative hour browsing and chatting and would recommend any model railway enthusiast to pay them a visit.
