I must tell you that over the years, probably about 20 or more years I have on occasion needed various bits and bobs for sculpting and modelling and well the shop and the staff what can I say, special place, good people. Thank you.

I first visited fratton model centre in October 2005, prior to retiring to the costa del sol, spain. I do not play golf (the abiding interest of retirees on the costa) and reckoned I would need something to occupy all my free time. I bought a lesbro arrow boat kit. The people in the shop were extremely helpful and clearly enthusiastic. However the kit stayed in its box for four years. Then, in 2009, I started work on it and finished the basic boat over a matter of months. On a trip to the uk in July 2010, I visited the shop again to buy the controllers and electronics I needed to finish it off. I am pleased to say that the staff were just as helpful and enthusiastic as they were five years earlier. Thanks, fratton model centre.
