I have visited the shop many times and have always found the staff informative and willing to help. The shop stocks everything that you could want, and on the rare occasion that something is not in stock, steve will do all he can to obtain the item for you. Well worth visiting.

I have been buying models etc at access (formerly portprince) models since 1986, and have always found it a well stocked and user friendly shop. Proprietor steve and the lads are well informed and always eager to help, and have on many occasions ordered stock in to fulfill a particular need. Whilst always stocking the major manufacturers they are not adverse to trying new ranges either. Easy to find and park near to, well worth a visit. Shop local, use it or lose it!

Very swift, knowledgeable and courteous service. These boys certainly know their stuff and don't hang about when answering your queries or obtaining items for you. The website is easy to negotiate and shipping times are good.

I visited access models at the weekend as I was interested in buying myself a helicopter. I ended up spending around 40-50 mins in the shop while the owner talked me through the various options available. I ended up purchasing an e-Flite cx2 and am very happy with this little heli (As the owner said I would be) there semed to be a nice level of upgrades available instore for when my flying skill improves, I was told that anything not in stock that I wanted would be ordered without any problem. I was given some sound advice as to where to start with my flying, I was even given details of a local flying club and invited to pop down for a visit anytime. this shop would appear to have something for everyone, a proper aladins cave for modellers of all types. I'll be visiting again for sure. thanks for helping me get into a hobby i've been interested in for some time. I have had to rate this shop a perfect 10 due to the fact I walked out with exactly what I needed and not arm fulls of gear / information that was of no use. Sean morgan.

I've been to a few model shops in my time and this one I have to say is one of the best. I was after a part for my r/c car that a couple of model shops had let me down on but these rang up while I was there and got me it the next day. You carn't beat that. The size of the shop was good with things on display all tidy which was help full as I could see everything I needed. from what I could see they have a huge plastics kit section full. Most of there railway is also in glass cabinets makeing those really easy to see. The staff where really help full and knew what they where talking about which is a key part for a good model shop. They even let a man have a look at a plastic kit while I was there which impressed me. There's some parking out the frount which was really helpfull saving me from having to pay. I would recomend a vistit to anyone this is well stocked shop and the prices are good as well. Hope this helps anyone looking.

Items nicely displayed and a good selection. Staff helpful and fairly knowledgeable. Prices a bit of a let down as they are close or on rrp. Worth a visit all the same.
