The owner was very friendly, but as i'm into N gauge he had nothing to tempt me. Most of his stock is die-cast. John Baines , Chorleywood - 19 Feb 2012 - 8/10 I visited the shop in October 2012 and it is very much still there. Reasonable amount of stock and a good selection of second hand stock. Very helpful in the shop and will go back again when I am up there later this year. Dave Martin , Mancherster - 14 Jul 2011 - 2/10 Having heard a lot of good things about this model shop, I decided to call in when I was in the area on a business trip. It was easy enough to find despite lancasters barmy one-way system and car parking was available round the back. unfortunately the shop doesn't live up to it's reputation. There is only a small amount of new RTR with the majority of the railway stock being a 'collection' of generic secondhand items. Again unfortunately there were no gems as one can usually find - the majority consisted of fair condition Lima mk2s/33s and the bits that are found at the back of secondhand shops the nation over, usually marked with 'reduced to clear'. The collection of DRS transfers this shop is also known for were well displayed and the full range was available, and the staff were friendly and seemed knowledgable however unless you are in need of said transfers or are in the area anyway, I sadly wouldn't recommend a trip.
