I drove 180 miles to visit this shop today - FANTASTIC.
The chap in the shop could not have been more helpful and I loved the selection of stock and the prices.

The shop and its interior is still very dusty. Frankly, I cannot understand why someone doesn't dust the products to be sold. I understand why young people prefer buying by clean internet.
Good selection of accessories and die-cast but rather poor in new trains and wagons.
Can't rate the knowledge but I have met talkativer shop-keepers.

Shop was bare, dark and grim. Gentleman seemed to polite but the stock on offer was minimal to say the lest. We wont be returning, their are better local shops just north of this sellers location.

Really friendly proprietor, very knowledgable. Great stock of second hand, even got some triang tt bits! New stuff as well. Give it a visit, only fifteen minutes walk from the station if you're on the train.

There are very few people around with keith's extensive knowledge of model railways. Always something interesting in stock at fair prices. If what you want is not in stock He will do his best to obtain it. Also has a good selection of plastic kits and die-cast buses.

Considering this is the only model railway shop in the area I could find, it's difficult to know what to say. There seems to be little stock, but I found what I wanted (A specific wills kit ) and as much (Cheap) 2nd hand track and scratch building basics as I shall need to go back for. Even some sensibly priced rolling stock I dreamed of having 35yrs ago. There was another customer when I arrived, but i'd be surprised if there is much footfall, and considering the lack of website i'm impressed the shop is still open. The man working there was helpful and seemed knowledgable. I doubt the hardcore model railway enthusiasts would be impressed, but maybe, in an increasingly internet sales based world, and with no experience of the competition, I see no reason to give jn 20 a bad review.
