Proprietor is very knowledgeable on a wide range of modelling needs. A visit is recommended. Do check opening days/times. Nigel Wharmby , Caythorpe, Grantham - 02 Jul 2011 - 8/10 Granary models is a veritable aladdins cave for the railway modeller and stocks one of the widest range of kits, rolling stock and acessories for OO and N gauge that I have seen, particularly for its size. Certainly have found nowhere better in lincolnshire. The lady who runs the shop is pleasant, knowledgeable and could not have spent more time making a new customer feeling as though I was a regular! My impression was that if she did not have an item in stock, she know where to get it and quickly. Definitely now my local store rather than using the internet. The shop is small, but has every thing and more for the avid railway modeller. The great thing is if you cant find it just ask! for dolls house fans there is a large selection, from houses to fitments, lighting, and accessories. Alan Webster , Revesby - 23 May 2011 - 7/10 I find the other 2 comments distasteful everyone has "Off days", I often go there for my raiway modelling parts and find her (Mary) very helpful, my wife uses it for her dolls house models. It is a little cramped but well lit in the important areas, she stocks most things for railways, dolls houses and other modelling requirements. It is the only good model shop around the boston area.
