Just tried to visit yesterday (Friday 30th dec) to find the whole of the greys building closed between xmas and January 3rd. Very disappointing as there were no evident signs indicating the reason for the closure (Seemed to have plenty of stock though). Brian Harrington , Ascot, Berkshire - 22 Jun 2010 - 8/10 I only get to call in about once a year, which is a great shame - the very nature of the stock being second hand means you need to look in frequently to snap up what you are looking for before someone else gets it. small stall (in an antiques market) but surprisingly large stocks. very friendly - and for some strange reason, never charges me the price on the label. usually has some old mags and books to browse through as well. well worth looking in. Good prices and a 'luck dip' as you never know what there could be in stock. I don't know of any other railway shop like it in central london! Recommended. Dave Bradley , Shropshire - 26 Nov 2009 - 10/10 Brilliant little shop.Friendly and knowlegable owner with a nothing too much trouble attitude, who was only too happy to open boxes give time to browse and patiently spend time explaining dcc to me.Well worth a visit, loads of good secondhand kit from pocket money toys to full train sets at very good prices.
