Not just the best model shop in north wales, but one of the best I have ever visited, you are guaranteed a cheeful welcome and will be amazed by the variety of stock. There is literally something for everyone, if you are in the area then go out of your way if you have to for a visit, you won't be disappointed!

Possibly the best model shop i've ever been to, a happy return to the independent stores of my childhood, where the owners know their stock and are full of helpful suggestions (Including recommending the best curry house in town). anything they don't have, they're more than happy to advise you on how to get it, and full of ideas for conversions as well. honestly, as soon as I saw the frontage, I was overwhelmed by the dioramas in the windows, and as soon as you walk in you see the model castle (And surrounding siege), planes from the ceiling, and a myriad of other beautifully painted models scattered around the store. if you've ever anywhere near prthmadog and have even the most passing interest in models, visit this store. I could carry on waxing lyrical about it, but I feel if you actually go there, you'll understand why all I need to say is "Visit it"

A fantastic shop for hobby enthusiasts, run by hobby enthusiasts, could not ask for a better service and atmosphere. It keeps going from strength to strength, and they're always willing to order to demand. if only I had more money, i'd never leave!

A bright well stocked shop with pleasant and well informed staff, who were willing to give that extra bit of service to ensure a revisit. A variety of stock covering warhammer, military figures of many eras as well as vehicles, aircrart, oxford die casts and some railway building kits, as well as paints, brushes and glues. Certainly open 9th January, 2012.

Fantastic, took me back to my childhood. Great that model shops like this still exist. Tremendous range of stock and service with a smile from mike and sue (And nolan the collie too!). will definitely revist when I return to porthmadog.

The best model shop i've been in, mike and sue are very helpful and polite. They stock a good range of model kits and paints etc. They will do there best to please the customer, i've been very lucky finding such a excellent model shop. Keep up the good work, look forward to seeing you both again soon.

Top model shop, so many kits ranging from the run of the mill tamiya, airfix to the more exotic roden eastern express, don't expect to pop in and out, you'll be tempted too many other kits. Looking forward to going back. Oh and porthmadog good holiday destination as a bonus

We absolutely loved the variety of models and scenery. A friendly, helpful owner introduced us to new realms of wargaming, which we are currently playing. and to think - we were only passing by!
