Previously submitted Customer Comments Anthony French , Leamington Spa - 03 Feb 2012 - 7/10 This shop is a bit of an enigma to me really and I have found rating it very difficult. On the plus side, the shop is very well stocked with all the major manufacturers stocked in OO and N plus accucraft G scale, there is a good range of 2nd hand available. The shop also stocks a wide range of railway DVDS. The gentleman behind the counter seemed very friendly and knowledgable. The shop could easily supply you with everything you need to build a complete layout in 1 visit, except the baseboard! on the minus side, the shop is very cramped (I suppose it needs to be to fit all the stock in) and I felt the display cabinets were poor (Particularly the Bachmann one) whilst not being the highest i've seen prices are above average. I can imagine parking can be quite difficult at times. Overall though a good shop worth a visit, with the added bonus it's only a stones throw away from the fantastic great central railway! Which provides wonderful model railway inspiration! [Response from Retailer: "I am afraid this customer obviously did not ask about the baseboard material as we do stock this although we do not have it on show. However I will put a notice up stating that this is available. As regards the display cabinets, they are the ones supplied by Bachmann and we have not had any complaints about them before. Parking can be a little difficult at times but there are public car parks within the village of Anstey, only a few yards away."] Andy Jackson , Wigston, Leicestershire - 21 Aug 2010 - 10/10 Very helpful and knowledgable. The chap I spoke to was wonderful in helping me to decide whether I should stick with DC or go to DCC, and brought my attention to a number of things which I didn't previously know. Without his help I could have wasted a lot of time and money. Because of his help, I shall return again and again to purchase everything I need. The photograph here does not do the shop justice: small on the outside, on the inside it is packed full of everything you could ever need for N and 00.
