Since then, progressing from simply buying a train set to building proper layouts, i've always received helpful friendly service and advice from mark, julie and ann. They get to know and appreciate their regular customers and try to please. They carry a wide range of stock in spacious premises, which are a pleasure to spend time in. I recomend a visit to see for yourself. Steven Oakden , York - 30 Jan 2012 - 8/10 Paid my first visit to this shop from the normanton model railway show. The shop is basically the ground floor of the building and is surprisingly extensive inside. There is a model railway that has two viewing sides in adjacent rooms and you can have a hot drink and sit and watch the trains go round or test your new loco. The stock encompases all sorts of things including renumbered and weathered locos. The shop is also tidy, unlike many model shops where you are climbing over boxes of tat and junk. Very helpful staff Richard Herbert , Castleford - 13 Mar 2011 - 9/10 I first came across going loco in the search for a coupling rod screw for my old Hornby fowler 0-6-0 that my grandson had lost. They found me one after a search and would not accept anything for it. I have since been back to purchase a couple bachman g2as at a good price. In fact i've bought a lot more RTR models from them all competitively priced and everyone run before me. The staff always offer a warm welcome, the shop is like the tardis, amazing stock, good parking and my grandson and I look forward to our next visit. I am off there today because I haven't been in ages and im getting my model railway out today and thought id just pop in and Maybe get a train or some more track.
