This model shop has gone on from strength to strength, the stock profile has grown substantially, easily accessible from the M1, expect to be there longer than you planned courtesy of how easy it is to browse their product range. Pre-owned, Bachmann, Hornby, Peco, Airfix models Tamiya, Humbrol paints etc. Reasonably sized free car park too.

What appears to be a small shop is actually incredibly large. Several rooms full of all scales, gauges and eras. Lots of new and used items to choose from, including a vintage area with Dublo and Dinky items. Worth a visit for sure.

This is what a model shop should be. Lots of stock in OO and N as well as less mainstream scales and gauges. It has on-Site parking and is easily accessed from the m1 and m62 motorways. Also, a bus passes the door, but you'll have to phone them to find which one it is. I called in today having found this shop on ukmodelshops just to check it out. The proprietors' son was "Holding the fort". He was very pleasant and welcoming, so I tested him with my usual "I'm not planning to spend anything". At this his friendly demeanour didn't lessen any - Instead he offered me a cup of tea! As someone else says, this shop is a veritable tardis. It has lots of accessories and modelling materials as well as an amazing stock of ready to use items from all the major names - and more! If you are in or passing through the yorkshire area, I wholeheartedly recommend that you pay going loco a visit. I don't think you'll regret it. By the way, I did buy something as my conscience wouldn't let me leave this wonderful shop without doing so!

Great shop. Spent a fortune that I didn't intend to, but very good advice from mark and all the staff. Fantastic range of stock, both new and secondhand. Will definitely be back for a dcc sound loco. Going to need a bigger shed!

Easy free parking next to what appears to be a small well stocked shop - That is until you go inside - the small shop opens out into another larger area and then another and another! Really well stocked shop and a good selection of secondhand models too - I picked up a nice dcc loco at a reasonable price. The best thing about the shop for me was the layouts which allowed a good run of the potential purchase beforehand! If i'm ever in the vicinity again, i'll definitely be making a return visit

Brilliant shop, I am in the process of building my first N gauge layout and I got everything in needed from here, as a beginner I was unsure about what I might need and was advised accordingly, no hard sell only sold what I required, I will be visiting going loco on a regular basis for all my needs in future
