10th July 2007 - Postal Strike update; From DCC Supplies

Dear Customers, We would like to inform you of our arrangements during the 2nd Postal strike (Thursday 12th - Friday 13th):
Larger orders will be sent via UPS at no extra charge. Small orders received during that period will be posted on Monday the 16th July (via Recorded post/special delivery at no extra charge, to avoid any potential loss).
Also, our order cutoff time (currently 3pm) will be changed to 12:00 during strike days.

These arrangements will also be used during any further industrial action by the Post Office, we hope that these arrangements will help to minimise the inconvenience caused by the strikes.

1st November 2006 - The DiGi-HAT, by DCC Supplies.

The easiest, and most professional solution to the DCC conversion of Graham-Farish Locomotives is now available from DCC Supplies Ltd. The difficulty in converting the old 'Poole' built units, as found in some diesel and most steam locos is the fact that the motor brush is built into the live chassis. There have been a number of attempts in the past to solve this problem, all involving a complete strip & modification to the chassis. The process is time consuming, and a little risky, damage could be incurred to the magnet, bearings, motor assembly etc. etc.
The DIGI-HAT is a direct replacement for the existing brass guide, and with the provided heat-shrink sleeve enables you to make an extremely professional job of a DCC conversion, better still, it only takes 5, rather than 45 minutes to convert a loco, and there is no drilling, additional materials, or irreversible modification required! All that is then needed, is a wire soldered to the exposed section of the clip, and fed through to the decoder. DCC Supplies provide the DiGi-Clip, a modified clip for those who wish to save even more time!

13th September 2006 - DCC Supplies now authorised distributors for Tony’s Trains products in Europe.

DCC Supplies are please to announce that they are authorised distributors for Tony’s Trains products in Europe. Spare parts, repairs and service of the CMX clean machine are always available, as are the RRAMP Meter, an accurate Volt & Amp meter for DCC, and all the other famous Tony’s products.<br />
The CMX track cleaner has been sold in the UK for some time now, as have other Tony’s trains products; they have not however, been supported by a UK based distributor until now. Full post sales support, repairs and spares are now available in the UK from DCC Supplies.
