Hattons provides great internet shop service. They work quickly. In total, it took only about two weeks to deliver my order to Indonesia.

This is the best internet shop I have ever used! They list how many of the items they have in stock, meaning that you know what you get in the postbox! They are quick as well, which is more than I can say of many others!

Very well stocked indeed and probably ideal for internet purchasing as they have many seriously cheap items. HOWEVER, not at all welcoming for the visitor. Feels like an argos rather than your corner shop if that makes sense! Full of clearly non - enthusiasts behind tills, and I left without buyig as a result! I prefer the small independent 'rummagey' type shops! Buy but do so online!

New shop begining to look like the old one, ie organised chaos, served by helpful plesent staff who are great as long as you can give them a code. Not well informed on railway items. Parking a total nightmare.

Swift delivery. However, customer service is not what it should be. I would expect the two emails I sent them to be answered. I was, after all, asking two very straight forward questions. Also when one loco arrived with a defect, Hattons tried to direct me to the manufacturer. My contract of sale is with the dealer NOT the manufacturer.

Regarding Hattons on-line - Great website, well laid out and easy to navigate and whilst they do not have the best prices they are, on average, quite good. Checking out the Bargains and Special Offers is a must however. Various types of delivery available for orders on-line including next-day. Packaging is adequate. All they gotta do is remove the credit card details from the enclosed receipts!(Eds Note: Hattons have informed us that Credit Card details are not shipped with the orders and always take the utmost care in the security of your information.)
