Visited warrens shop after a drop off at manchester airport., and a browse through the rm for a shop to visit in the gm area (apart from previously visited waltons and aracadia). a well stocked shop with a good balance or rtr, kits, detailing stuff and a very large and comprehensive second hand section. warren is a keen modeller himself and is very happy to chat and discuss any model railway issue with you. the shop is located in part of an old mill complex and is probably around 30 minutes walk from a railway station (can't remember which one !!!), as well as numerous hostelries en route !!!!

This shop has relocated (adrian please note) to an industrial / retail area on the outskirts of shrewsbury. The address is knights way, battlefield enterprise park, shrewsbury sy1 3ab. It is basically a new development of a roundabout where the a49 and a53 cross, to the north of shrewsbury. There are quite a number of similar looking buildings and it is on the left hand side. the shop has a number of display cases around the walls givingthem a good chance to display their wares. A pretty good stock of hornby, heljan and bachmann oo as well as the american model loco range. There was also quite a bit of n stuff. The shop also sells model cars, boats and planes, and a proportion of the shop was naturally dedicated to this. imho the shop was still getting itself together from the move out of shrewsbury town centre and there was probably quite a lot more stock not in display, like a dapol kit i aaked for and got. for those with a car it is now much easier to get to, parking just outside, instead of the usual town centre problem.

Great shop easy to find has good selection of new and second hand at very good prices. will call in again.
