Just a minor point, that the listing claims to stock o-gauge and gauge-1 when they actually have practically nothing. I would have thought that to reasonably make this claim they should at least carry some basic stock all the time. Overall, their website is good, and i'm sure oo- and n-scale modellers are well catered for.

17th February 2008 - Limited Edition Loco - Royal Warwickshire Regiment LMS Livery
Castle Trains in Warwick announces the LMS Parallel Boiler Scot 'Royal Warwickshire Regiment' in OO gauge.
Following the success of our limited edition wagons, we have decided to go for something a little bigger and commission from Bachmann our first locomotive.
The Royal Warwickshire Regiment comes in LMS crimson livery as it ran up to the 1940's when it was painted black during the war. The model comes with superb detail, which is clearly visible. The nameplate and badge can now be seen in the regimental museum at St John's in Warwick. We are pleased to be working with the regimental museum to reproduce this loco, which was named at Snow Hill in Birmingham in honour of the regiment.
The regiment, with Field Marshall Montgomery amongst its famous officers, developed a proud history and strong local connections for almost 300 years before being merged with other fusilier regiments in the late 1960's.
The loco, which costs £84.99 + £4 postage, is available to pre-order through our website (click the banner above) or can be ordered in person at the shop or by phone (tel. 01926 497905). Having had almost a full page in the last Bachmann Collectors Club magazine, the model is selling fast.
The last few of our limited edition wagons are still available on the website or in the shop, with supplies being down to the last twenty of a couple of them, so please do not delay.
All wagons so far cost £7.99 and the following are still available:
Dapol OO Gauge - John Walker Coal Merchant, Warwick
Dapol N Gauge - John Walker Coal Merchant, Warwick
Dapol N Gauge - Warwickshire Coal Co., Coventry
22nd August 2007 - Limited Edition Wagons in N and OO Gauges
Castle Trains in Warwick is pleased to announce that we have received the first of our range of Limited Edition Wagons. These have been produced exclusively for Castle Trains by Dapol and our first wagon features local Warwick coal merchant John Walker, whose small fleet of wagons were a familiar site across Warwickshire and the West Midlands.
These wagons are available in OO Gauge and N Gauge, with only 150 in each scale. Cost is £7.99 each and postage of £2 within the UK for any quantity ordered. Each wagon is supplied with a small certificate.
Further limited edition wagons will follow later in the year, and all can be ordered direct from the shop or via the website www.castletrains.com while stocks last. To ensure you are kept up to date with future limited editions, simply register on the website.
We will also have them available on our stand at the Birmingham Model Railway Exhibition at Cocks Moors Leisure Centre, Kings Heath on 15/16 September.
26th March 2007 - New Website Launched with Special Offers
We have now launched our new website and are adding hundreds of extra items each week.
To celebrate the launch of the new site, we have a range of special offers with huge discounts running up until the end of April. These are in strictly limited quantities, so when they are gone, they cannot be repeated. We welcome feedback on our website, so everyone providing feedback to help us improve the site, along with those making a purchase, will be entered into a draw to win a prize.
We also have the full range of the much in demand Dapol Virgin Voyagers, which are selling out incredibly fast and come in limited runs of only 250 in each name. All are available to buy on the website or by phoning the shop.
Be sure to look at the website and keep popping back to see the latest special offers in model railways and Scalextric - there is bound to be something of interest to everyone (look out for the Dapol 45xx at the lowest price in the UK!).
