Andrew at gmw introduced me to dapol as previoulsy i had discounted bristish manufacturers as inferiro to fleishmann and minitrix. suffic is to say my layous inclued a dapol 66 and a 45 tank together with six collett coaches. On order is an ews 66 and a virgin voyager. the service i got from gmw was absolutley superb. I would rather go there than the local model stores.

Excellent and friendly mail order service, in fact on quite a few occassions when andrew has been "on tour" visiting suppliers he has dropped by to personally deliver my orders which is no mean feat when i'm in scotland :)

Although a small shop it has a wealth of tresures and finds the staff are realy helpful and will spend hours making sure you get the right purchase. The service is second to none and advice is always available to you i will definately use this shop again and the website is very helpful too

Well stocked shop considering its small size. Proprietors seem intent on keeping a wide range of useful products; very good. staff friendly and helpful. website - quite easy to find your way around; clear, contrasting colours. Will be better when pictures of items available.
