Just a mile from the M1 (J23), our Trade, Layout & Running Day is held for O Gauge, G1 & modellers interested in larger scale modelling. With 6 layouts, 2 large test tracks (1 each for running O Gauge and Gauge 1 - no live steam). Around 30 Traders, mainly manufacturers, in the larger scales (including Gauge 3). Demonstration stands, Society stands for the main organisations in O Gauge modelling, plenty of FREE Car Parking and Light Refreshments available. Free entry to accompanied under 16's
Located on the Shepshed Campus (1 Mile from M1 Junction 23), the High School only opened Sept 2007 and there are NO steps so getting round is easy! You are guaranteed a warm welcome from our group of friends.
Public Transport - by train to Loughborough then Paul Winson bus service No4 to Shepshed. Buses leave Loughborough station at 07.33, 08.03, 08.33, 09.23, 09.53, 10.23, 10.53, 11.23, 11.53, arriving in Shepshed around 20 minutes later (http://www.winsoncoaches.co.uk/TimeTables.php) alternatively ARRIVA operate a comprehensive Saturday service (126 & 127) that runs through Shepshed.
