This calendar covers many of the Club and Society Open Days in the forthcoming months. If your event is not listed just complete the SUBMISSION FORM with your details and we will add them on the next regular update.
We can advertise any of your events up to 12 months in advance AND you can submit any changes you need at any time.
Don't forget Model Railway Exhibitions and Swapmeets and Toyfairs are now listed in their very own Events Calendars.
If you have the time we would also be grateful if we could display a poster at your show.

Gauge '3' is effectively standard gauge 'G' scale, the largest scale for scenic model railways, at 1:22.6 scale (E.G. 63.5mm gauge at 13.5mm/1ft) the railways we model, range from the largest Mainlines down to the smallest Light and Industrial railways. | The Guildford Group's Open Day provides an opportunity to see two of the Group's '0' gauge layouts and to purchase items for '0' gauge model railways. Around 12 traders normally attend our open days. The main layout, 'Normandy Junction' is a large continuous run layout. 'Warnborough Road' is a continuous oval layout occupying a space of only 12 FT X 14 FT, complete with scenery and buildings. |

| A large new 4mm layout is under construction. Some trains should be running but scenery will be scarce.This is a chance to see how a layout is built. Wychnor's new terminus, Gresley Town, is now up and running and depicts the Burton area in the days of B.R. Steam, although we exercise modellers licence at times and host other companies and periods apart from the LMR. There will be a Thomas for the younger ones amongst us and other layouts in N, OO9, OO and O gauges. The venue is within walking distance from Horsham Station and refreshments will be available. | There is only one huge N gauge modular layout made up from three groups coming together. Trains take 1 hour to travel whole layout. The layout will be controlled by Digitrax DCC with wireless, tethered and iPod throttles in use. | This is our joint exhibition with SEGOG. 2 large halls, one fine and the other for coarse scale. Over 10 layouts all in O gauge, 12 traders or more, demonstrations, Bring 'N Buy table. Refreshments served all day. Bring the family along for an interesting day. Bring something to run on our test track or be valued, in the coarse hall. This is probably now the largest O gauge meet in the South East and Kent. |
