Blyth & Tyne Model Railway Society is the oldest and largest model railway club in Northumberland. The club have some 82 members ranging in ages from the youngest aged 16 and the oldest aged 85. We currently have layouts in 2mm, N, 3mm, HO, EM, OO, O, G1 and G Scale gauges and would welcome any new member who models in these gauges or any other gauge. We currently meet every Wednesday 10am to 12pm & 7pm to 10pm & Thursday 7pm to 10pm.

The club was originally founded in 1952 as bognor regis model railway circle. The club disbanded but later reformed in 1989 as the bognor regis model railway club. We have a thriving community of approx 40 members. The Boston mrs is a small group of railway modellers who live in the area around Boston in Lincolnshire. The majority of members model "00". We all have different periods of interest, which range from the big four to present day. Our layouts are not set in any period, and we will run stock from any period at an exhibition, the only rule being that the loco and coaches/wagons are of the same period. The junior members have dwindled in number due to other interests.
