The Wrenn Railways Collectors Club (WRCC) was founded to provide a forum for all model railway enthusiasts of the products of G & R Wrenn of Basildon, Essex from 1952 - 1992. A quarterly Newsletter called "The Tracker" is produced which provides articles on Wrenn related themes, updated Auction results, information on the models (and variations) produced, plus a Sales & Wants page(s) for both collectors and runners alike. The Wrenn Railways Collectos Club also has produced by Dapol Ltd a range of wagons under the WRCC banner. All models are produced using the original Dublo/Wrenn wagon moulds retained by Dapol after their purchase of the G & R Wrenn company in 1993. These are listed in the Ramsay's British Model Trains catalogue, published by British Railway Modelling. The Wrenn Railways Collectors Club is present at the Annual Warley Model Railway Show at the N.E.C. Birmingham. Membership details are available from Barry Fentiman on 01628 488455 or via eMail |
