Here are some ideas for the points you could consider:
  • Willingness to get items to special order
  • Willingness to spend time with you
  • Product knowledge & helpfulness of staff
  • Range of items stocked
  • Location / access / advice given on best places to park
  • Layout of shop (size permitting)
  • Will they open the goods and allow you to inspect goods with them (security permitting)
  • Exchange and returns policy within reason
  • Encouragement / rapport with younger modellers
These are items you should avoid:
  • General comments like "Good Shop" or "Excellent" will not be published.
  • Short comments of less than 25 words may not be published if they are vague and not informative.
  • Comments must refer to the service offered by the retailer and need to bear in mind their terms and conditions of service e.g. delivery times.
  • Reviews refering to third party services beyond the control of the retailer will not be published. For example the efficiency of the Postal service e.g. "Delivered the next day".
These ratings will be used to give a 'Star Rating' of between 0 and 5 Stars to the shop concerned.

Submission conditions:

  • Your details will be kept on file (but not displayed on the website) and should any retailer wish to contact the reviewee for further details of your review, we will provide them with your e-mail address. UK Libel Laws: A statement made about an identifiable individual or company that has been repeated to at least one third party may be considered libellous if it tends to lower the person in the estimation of right-thinking members of society or would cause others to shun or avoid them or expose them to hatred, contempt or ridicule; or in the case of a company, has a damaging effect on the business.
For example - "I would recommend you do not order from this company" or "The staff were rude and ignorant".
