A Great Fair in the North There are 350 Stalls packed full of all kinds of collectable toys, trains and models at the Harrogate Toy Fair
Many of the UK's top specialist dealers take stalls at the show. Models, Haven Bears, a & C Models, Pooley's Puffers, IC Toys, Train Time, Help Empty My Attic, Toysteam, Octo Models, Dalesman Diecasts, Wheelbase Models, Toyique, IC Toys, Big Kids, Sew What and Stuff It, Modelfair, the Toy Emporium and D.M.B. Models. Diecast models of Cars, Buses, Lorries and Aeroplanes by Corgi, Dinky, EFE, Lledo, Matchbox, Minichamps, Sunstar can be found on many stalls. Model Railways in N, 0 and 00 gauges by Hornby, Mainline, Lima, Trix, Tri-ang, Bachmann, Marklin etc. Are for sale from many specialist dealers. Elsewhere Dolls, Teddy Bears, Star Wars, DR. Who and other Film and TV-related Collectables, Action Figures, Scalextric, Model Soldiers, Tinplate Toys, Games and much, much more are for sale, with prices starting from just £1. Visitors to the show are able to bring in toys and models of their own for a free valuation from specialist toy auction houses Vectis Auctions and DJ Auctions, are at the show keen to chat about all kinds of collectables. The huge Exhibition Hall number 1 at the Yorkshire Event Cente has excellent lighting and numerous doors for exhibitors to unload through. There are excellent catering facilities selling hot and cold meals, snacks and drinks in the Vista Cafe. Harrogate is very well located, being close to the A1(M) and near to both Leeds and York. There is Free Parking for thousands of cars in the huge car parks at the Showground. |
