Erith Model Railway Society
Foxley Hill
BR 1960's Steam/Diesel, N Gauge
'Foxley Hill' is the name of Erith Model Railway Society's twin track continuous run layout.
Built by members of the club, to 2mm or 'N' scale, this layout represents a local country line set somewhere in the heart of rural England in the 1960s.
Passenger Trains serving Foxley Hill consist of local trains including commuer servies to the nearby city of Foxley. Freight services with short van, tank and mixed freight also pass through as well as serving the small goods yard.
The layut was built using Peco set track with simple electrics. Buildings are a mixture of Kestrel Kits and Lyddle End, many of which have been enhanced or adapted. Accessories are from a variety of sources including Layouts4U. Rolling stock is Farish and Dapol. The layout is a member of the Foxley group of layouts.
If you would like 'Foxley Hill' to attend an event or display in your area, please do not hesitate to contact us via the Exhibitions Manager.
