Wigan finescale railway modellers are a group of like minded individuals who enjoy researching a wide variety of railway interests and applying this knowledge in order to create realistic models and layouts. We operate a number of layouts, owned by the club and individual members and built to exhibition standards, principally in 4mm (oo / em) scales. Layouts are exhibited at model railway exhibitions, not only in the north west but across the country.
Additionally we are responsible for organising and staging the long established Annual Wigan Model Railway Exhibition, the largest and best of its kind in the North West, attracting over 3500 visitors each year with quality layouts and excellent trade support. |
