Badlesmere Village Hall, beside the green, is our venue for running and model making.
During winter some Saturday afternoon meetings are in Fleur De Lis Hall, central Faversham.
Members have a wide range of interests from Edwardian trains, through US and Continental, to modern British railways. We pool our skills to maintain and add to our layouts. We are constructing an exhibition layout.

Founded in June 1962, the society (EMRS for short) has been in existence for over 50 years. It is very friendly and informal in nature, and comprises people engaged in modelling railways in most scales including N, HO, OO and O. As well as modelling railways and organising our annual exhibition, the society organises annual dinners, buffet events and visits to various railway related places of interest. We meet every Wednesday, and most Tuesdays and Thursdays, at our clubrooms in Belvedere. |

A long established club in south east kent, with over 45 members. We meet at the new broomfield hall, broomfield road, cheriton, on Mondays and Wednesdays from about 7.45pm. Our annual exhibition is very popular with over 3000 visitors attending over the weekend and is regarded as one of the best in kent (perhaps better than Chatham!). Formed in 1970 by a group of enthusiasts with an interest in transport and railways in particular, the tradition carries on today, with interests as diverse as shipping, buses and trams. We hold 20 meetings a year at the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Windmill Street Gravesend with speakers on a wide range of transport related subjects. There is also a newsletter 'GRES Journal', published ten times a year and an annual coach outing, plus visits to other railway and transport sites. |
