The club was founded the club on the 19th of April 1991, by the late Martin Brent, and it was in, the same year that he conceived and organised the clubs first "Finescale Extravaganza" in 1991. The Extravaganza is now an annual event, and club now has an enviable reputation for organising one of the best model railway exhibitions in the south east. We have a clubroom between Watford and Bushey, and currently have 3 layouts in various stages of completion. We run train trips, have social events and exhibit our layouts at other model railway exhibitions several times a year. We welcome new members who want to get involved, improve their modelling, and have fun. All we ask is a positive attitude and a sense of humour. |
