We are a small but friendly group of individuals who have an interest in railways, and specifically the north american prototype and model railroads. We meet once a month, and hold a model railroad running meet and mini exhibition four times a year, usually february, may, august and november. You can always be assured of a warm welcome !

as well as these club meetings, we organise trips to preserved railways, other clubs, exhibitions, hold other rail theme social events and organise an annual two day exhibition.
we have layouts in ‘n’, ‘oo’, ‘o’ and also, in construction, an american themed, on30 narrow gauge layout.

The Society has its own club house and workshop. We currently have 36 members 3 of whom are wheel chair users. Meetings take place Tuesday through to Friday, with N/2mm, OO steam, OO Diesel and Electric and O gauge represented. Members regularly exhibit layouts in OO O and 2mm. We are on the look out for new members and also organise model railway classe's through local night school. |
