Our club meeting nights are each Wednesday evening between 7.30pm and 10.30pm, except the first Wednesday of January, March, May, July, September and November. As well as these club meetings we organise trips to preserved railways, other clubs, exhibitions, hold other rail themed social events and organise an annual two day exhibition. It is the biggest exhibtion in Hampshire. We have layouts in 'N', 'OO', 'O' and also, in construction, an American themed On30 narrow gauge layout. |

The society has its own club house and workshop. We currently have 36 members 3 of whom are wheel chair users. Meetings take place Tuesday through to Friday, wit N/2mm, OO steam, OO diesel and electric and O gauge represented. Members regularly exhibit layouts in OO O and 2mm. We are on the look out for new members and also organise model railway classe's through local night school. |

The Southampton Model Railway Society has a wide range of interests, in both the prototype and modelling. Club layouts in N, OO and O gauges are normally available, as test tracks and operational practice for when they are taken out to Model Railway Exhibitions around the country. A number of members also have their own layouts on the Exhibition circuit. We have run workshops for members to share their experience and talents in a variety of electrical and creative skills. We also hold an extensive library of books and magazines to help with researching details about all sorts of locomotives & rolling stock, stations & landscapes, and prototypical running & timetables. |
