We are a new Model Railway Club with premises in Brookside Garden Centre and Minature Railway, famous for its collection of Railwayana and 7 1/4inch railway. The club house is open to members whenever the Garden Centre is open. Club night is every Wednesday from 7.00pm to 10 and we have established regular nights on Fridays again from 7 - 10 pm. Starting on the 27th Jan 2006 a series of meetings and slideshows will be inaugerated. |

The macclesfield model railway group exists to help and encourage members, from macclesfield and the surrounding area, in their modelling and general railway interest. The club is active in many model railway scales and gauges. Hammeston wharf (7mm o gauge) and leyland (3mm tt gauge) are our current exhibition layouts. A large n gauge model of both macclesfield stations is under construction along with planned oo gauge and on30 layouts. The club has dedicated premises where the layouts are able to be erected and run. The clubroom also houses an extensive library, workshop and social areas. |

The Club meets every Tuesday afternoon in our new location: Woodsmoor Lane Laboratory Block, Stockport Grammar School on the A6.
We are open from 3:00pm until 10:00pm.

We have a 32 ft "00" Gauge layout; an "N" Gauge layout under construction and a "U" shaped "G" Scale test track approx 75 feet long so LGB/Aristocraft/Marklin owners welcome to come for a run. |
