The crowborough locomotive society was formed to construct and run the crowborough miniature railway. The railway has expanded, increasing in member numbers and with the new boating lake, which opened summer 2005 as part of the crowborough town centenery celebrations.

The Echills Wood Railway is a 71/4 gauge railway, first curcuit completed of 3/4 mile. the extension is now being constructed to include 5 bridges, 20 metre tunnel and two new stations, giving an approx track length of 2 miles within the park. The society was originally formed as the leicester & district society of model engineers in 1910. The society runs two multi gauge tracks in abbey park, leicester on saturday and sunday afternoons 2.00 to 5.00 easter to october giving rides to the public, visitors are always welcome.

The Society was established in 1994 and its headquarters are located in Victoria Park, Rawmarsh, Near Rotherham. the Society operates a triple gauge ( 3.5", 5" and 7.25" ) raised track and a 7.25" ground level track. Rides are given to the public every Sunday from Easter to September and on Wednesdays during school holidays.

Rugby Model Engineering society was formed on the 6th October 1949. the society operates the "Rainsbrook Valley Miniature Railway", which is based at Onley Lane Rugby. the railway consists of two circuits, a raised circuit for two and a half, three and a half and five inch gauges of approxamately 1100ft and also a ground level circuit of seven and a quarter inch gauge approxamately 3300ft in length.

We are a long established society, dedicated to promoting our hobby by building and operating steam powered models; by engineering experimentation; by encouraging young model engineers; by maintaining links with other model engineers in the UK and abroad. Model engineers and interested guests are always made welcome. Our premises and toilets are wheelchair accessible. We have a 3½" to 7¼" multi-gauge raised track, fully signalled 5" and 7¼" dual gauge ground level track and a 'garden gauge' railway.

We cater for live steam and electric locomotives in gauges 2.5, 3.5, 5 and 7.25 on an elevated track and 7.25 on a ground level track, we are open to the public every Sunday from Easter weekend through to October. Throughout the summer passengers can ride pulled by a variety of live steam and electric locomotives every Sunday from 13.00 onwards.

We meet at the well appointed Club House every Wednesday for members to test and run their locomotives and also maintain the site.
Prospective members are always welcome to come and join our club and to see the wide variety of locomotives our members have built.
We currently have approximately 80 members and welcome new members especially from the younger generation at any time.

The WRSLS also caters for private birthday parties on Saturdays throughout the summer months but please book early to avoid disappointment.
Our site amenities consist of a large club house, a secure locomotive shed and turntable for 7.25 inch gauge Locomotives, a fully equipped workshop, carriage shed, 5" locomotive sheds and various storage buildings. the club is very secure in that we have a fully fenced boundary and we also benefit from the presence of 24 hour security CCTV surveillance direct to a security company courtesy of our neighbors.

The clubs annual open weekend will be held on June 14th and 15th this year during which the WRSLS is open to the general public on both the Saturday and the Sunday.
The rally weekend includes free passenger travel, model engineering display for a small fee payable at the gate.
The club also prides its self on its excellent catering facilities which serves hot and cold meals throughout both days of the rally weekend.
Members of other societies are very welcome to bring there models and locomotives to the rally weekend but please remember to bring your boiler certificate's along with you if you would like to run.
We also supply free meals to visiting members that bring models to our rally for display and running purposes.
