About us
We specialise in the manufacture of 4mm (OO gauge) and 7mm (O gauge) scales of the finest model railway carriages and 7mm scale heritage diesels. We happily accept commissions and the building of pre-acquired kits in both 4mm and 7mm scales. All our models are hand made, including fully detailed interiors, by Ian Willets from quality materials such as brass or white metal to the most exacting standards and finished to exhibition standard and beyond!
All models feature fully detailed interiors and painted, to your specification, by the renowned expert Dave Studley in your choice of livery including weathering if required.
Ian Willets started trading as Willets Scale Models in 2004 and has been delivering highly detailed British railway carriage and heritage diesels to customers worldwide ever since. Almost everything in our galleries is repeatable and most other diagrams available. We are also able to provide numerous rail modeling parts, a selection of which can be found on our 'Price List' page.
Please do not hesitate to contact us to discuss your requirements. All contact details can be found on found below.
The following vehicle types are available, fully built and painted, in 4mm scale.
Individual coach types are too numerous to list so please contact me to see if I can supply the coach of your choice.
Please ring for availability of 7mm vehicles.
