FALCON BRASSWORKS LOCOMOTIVE KITS
A Brief History
Falcon Brassworks was established over 20 years ago as “Jidenco”. The Company was acquired 3 years ago by Philip Rudd. Our centre of operations moved from Maulden in Bedfordshire to Llechryd in West Wales in December 1998.
Since we acquired Falcon Brass we have undertaken a programme of upgrading and improving a number of our present range of kits. Many have had new masters that have improved the quality of our castings and many new lost wax parts are now supplied with the kits. We are also modifying some of the etches to include additional detail such as Brake Rigging, Safety Chains and other details. Some kits will also have new and improved chassis.
With over 450 kits in the range it is a long and painstaking job to up-grade and make improvements. We ask you to be patient whilst we attend to these modifications. However, there are some kits that have such a low unit sale per year that we feel that it is not cost effective to alter or modify them. These kits will be supplied as a kit, but we ask our customers to understand that they are effectively a lower scale of product and demand a higher skill and technique to obtain the normal high standard of detail that our premier kit range enjoys. It is also our intention to improve the assembly instructions and supply exploded diagrams to assist in construction.
The locos are separated into Tank & Tender Locos and then into wheel arrangement.
The price code for the locomotives comes first and the next code (in brackets) is the chassis price code.
Substitute (CH) to the loco kit number when ordering a chassis i.e. LK109 becomes CH109.

p&p £1.50 for orders under £10; £2.50 for all other orders UK Only.
Payments can be made either by Cheque made out to FALCON BRASS or by Credit Card (but not Switch Card).
We endeavour to despatch goods within 14 days of receipt of order but if we are out of stock of the necessary frets you will be informed of the estimated deliery period.
Overseas orders will be dealt with on an individual basis with postage cost advised in your receipt.
