Newsletter Problems
I am aware of a problem with the distribution of recent Newsletters. This occurred due to the moving of the Directory to a different internet server.
Unfortunately the SPF records for the email addresses can take between 24 and 48 hours to propagate across the internet and this caused several larger email providers such as Yahoo, Virgin media and Btinternet to reject the Newsletter.
Now this has been completed it should not happen this week and I am monitoring the situation.
UPDATE 15th Feb: Upon further investigation the problem is with the SPF and DKIM policies with ukmodelshops not being recognised as being the source of the emails and recent changes in policies by the large email providers to prevent SPAM. So, whilst the Newsletters themselves are being sent by Mailchimp, the from email address is from ukmodelshops. Hence, as they don't match, they are being rejected as spam.
The solution I have discovered is for me to authenticate ukmodelshops through Mailchimp and add some settings, which I have now done.
So I will try and resend this weeks Newsletter again tomorrow morning.
Please accept my apologies for this and your patience is appreciated as this is quite complicated and only becomes apparent when the rejections occur.
Best regards,
Adrian
